The Rhodes Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship for outstanding students who want to study at the University of Oxford. It supports applicants who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, strong character, community involvement and a commitment to creating positive change.
For Pakistan, two Rhodes Scholarships are available each year. Applications for the 2027 intake opened on 1 June 2026 and will close at 11:59 PM Pakistan Standard Time on 5 August 2026.

Available Programs
Rhodes Scholars may study almost any eligible full-time postgraduate course at the University of Oxford, including:
- MSc
- MSt
- MPhil
- MBA
- MPP
- BCL
- LLM and other eligible law programs
- DPhil, Oxford’s equivalent of a PhD
- Other approved postgraduate programs
Applicants should confirm that their selected Oxford course is covered by the Rhodes Scholarship conditions.
Scholarship Benefits
The Rhodes Scholarship generally covers:
- Full University of Oxford course fees
- Annual living stipend
- Oxford application fee support
- Student visa application fee
- Immigration Health Surcharge
- Economy-class flights to and from the United Kingdom
- Arrival allowance
- Leadership and networking opportunities
For the 2025–26 academic year, the stipend was £20,400 per year, equivalent to £1,700 per month. Scholars use this stipend to cover living expenses, including accommodation. The amount may be revised for the 2027 intake.
Eligibility for Pakistani Applicants
Applicants must meet the relevant nationality, residency, age and academic requirements for the Pakistan constituency.
For the 2027 scholarship, applicants must normally meet one of the following age conditions:
- Be aged between 18 and 23 on 1 October 2026; or
- Be under 27 on 1 October 2026 and have completed their first undergraduate degree on or after 1 October 2025.
Applicants must also have completed, or be expected to complete, an undergraduate degree at a standard suitable for admission to an eligible Oxford postgraduate course.
